Dyno Tuning & Engine Calibration

Dyno tuning service

Installing performance mods on your car is one thing but to get those mods to deliver results, you need to have the engine calibrated properly. That is where a dyno tune comes in.

The Dynocom DC5000 AWD dyno allows us to tune a variety of car types and platforms. Prices may vary so give us a call to discuss your goals and go over pricing. Please be aware that we do charge for added services such as installation of required O2 bung if not already installed, Strapping and re-strapping of vehicle due to issues beyond our control and other unforeseen circumstances.

Prior to a dyno session it is recommended that the vehicle be properly maintained with all fresh fluids including an AMSOil oil change and a proper leak test to be performed including both the intake system and exhaust. Also consider new plugs and air cleaner.

engine calibration service

Custom projects and purpose built cars often require the use of a standalone Engine Management System. Our Calibration Engineer has the expertise to not only give you the most out of your build but will give you the best possible drivability depending on the application.

We can calibrate just about any system but the ones we list below are our favorite to recommend.

A calibration is usually done from scratch or from a very rough starting Map. Calibration and Dyno time for this service is typically by-the-hour @ $150/hr with a minimum of 9 hrs given the nature of the beast. Much of the calibration process can be done off line and on the street in most cases. This is how we are able to achieve the level of drivability that we are known for and any trouble spots or load related anomalies are then targeted on the dyno. The power pulls are done exclusively on the dyno.
